Antique 19thC Chinese Bronze Hexagonal Cache Pot Planter Jardiniere. Superb fine detailed antique bronze planter. Decorated with six panels, three of which with dragons and the other three with a Greek key motif.Raised up on six supporting legs of foliage, flowering branch prunus like form with claw feet with butterflies at the top of three of the legs. Three of the panels and one foot have a strike mark H. I have been informed that these are probably not the makers marks but a retailers mark.... And indeed could be a Victorian aesthetic oriental style bronze planter.... Will leave up to you to decide. Either way a beautiful and rare antique bronze planter. The planter is in good condition and totally original, with minor rubbing, tarnishing, scratches, old polish residue etc.... All nothing major, but noted and commensurate with age and use.
Left as is for new owner to polish or not. Measures overall 27cms or 10.5 across at widest points.27cms or 10.5 tall. Internal diameter is 17cms or 6.75" with a depth of 14.5cms or 5.75".
