Rare 18thC GEORGIAN OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE PATCH BOX c1760 FILIGREE FAUX MOSS-AGATE. Rare 18thC GEORGIAN OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE PATCH BOX c1760 FILIGREE SIMULATED MOSS-AGATE Period: Georgian c1760. Lid dented out of round (see photo 2).
Warm copper tones bleeding through on raised parts. Some tarnishing to the silver that will polish off.
Wear to the internal mirror and copper gilt interior. The glass has a chip to the side. Wear commensurate with age and use. Notes: Absolutely beautiful little 18th Century Georgian patch box with a sweet simulated moss-agate and filigree top and die stamped pattern to the base.
