A wonderful antique early Wedgwood cruet stand. I've seen a couple of these over the years in a Queensware but I've never seen one in a decorated pearlware or one of this form with the central basket. Clearly impressed upper case mark to the underside. Measures 8.5 inches/21.5 cm tall. As you can see in the images its got some damage but is complete apart from a couple of tiny pieces of fretwork. There is damage to the central column and top basket, damage to half the rim of the stand but again is 99% present, small chip to the oil bottle rim. I believe this to be a rare object. Please take a look at my other antiques. IMAGES Hover your cursor over the images above to view larger images. Everything we sell is second hand or pre-owned and/or antique so will have the signs of use, for example - surface dust or dirt, utensil scratches, gilt wear, stilt marks, light natural crazing and firing faults, rubbing to decoration, small scratches and marks to the surface - none of the above is damage but are part of the ageing, use and/or manufacturing process of a pre-owned or antique item! We are an online antique dealership only so do not offer collection in person. The item "A WONDERFUL RARE ANTIQUE 18THC WEDGWOOD PEARLWARE CRUET STAND" is in sale since Thursday, April 9, 2020.
