1700s 18thC Rare Georgian Era Cooking Pot Brass Steel Copper Poss. London Mark
Now here is a pretty little pot. The pointy handle is the giveaway. Health and safety would never let you get away with that these days. Approximate measurements: Diameter 12 cm or 4.75 inches. Handle extends 15.3 cm or 5.6 inches. Height to tip of handle 11 cm or 4.5 inches. From a late collector's estate sale. A quality period piece in fit for service condition. Not for use with acidic foods. Pan would polish up a treat as it is made of solid brass. I think the handle is Steel and looks to have a tiny dagger mark and other worn marks near the tip of handle. A rare old thing indeed. Thank you for your interest and please see my other listings. The item "1700s 18thC Rare Georgian Era Cooking Pot Brass Steel Copper Poss.
